Business Process Re/Design
Simply stated, business process design improves workflow, response times, resource efficiency and cash flow to better serve shareholders and stakeholders.
Managers should know some history: Many BPD pioneers recommended re-training and re-deployment of the new surplus workers. They said keeping more versatile staff would add value and internal resiliency, drive competitive advantage, and thereby grow middle class jobs — deepening customer bases for everyone. But unfortunately, the downsizing approach became more common, which has increased turbulence, eroded prosperity and turned workers against the approach.

Levantas championed the 'value-additive' approach, which has since become a more standard practice.
